after a few minute's wait, Rick came in! Wow! What a hug I got! |

After that, Rick signed the guitar, and a couple of other items, including a birthday card for my best friend, Shauna.

I got to show Rick some graphic art I've done on my computer, and we had an actual conversation about the software I use. Not the subject I would have necessarily chosen, but I had a REAL conversation with Rick Springfield!! As you can probably tell from my pictures, I'm quite relaxed, and able to be myself. That's the kind of person Rick is. He puts you completely at ease.

the posed pictures. As you can see, there were a few, uh, "miscues". Yeah! That's it! There were some "flash issues" with Nanette's camera, but who's going to complain at such a moment? Certainly not ME! |

| At long last, The ONE! I've been so fortunate to have several chances to have pictures taken with Rick, but something was always went wrong with the picture. The lighting would be off, or my face would be shiny. Something. But this one's perfect! I've waited, and tried for this picture for 21 years! |
